The greyhound is relaxing and contemplating a nap next to a lovely vase of flowers and eucalyptus. I love the blue, grey and pink colours.
The dog and vase are painted on two separate layers of glass which are mounted with a gap in between for a slight 3D effect. The glass is framed and held together by a grey frame with no backing so the wall behind is visible.

This image is a modern take on a classic still life; the stillness and serenity of the scene is broken by the movement of the yawning greyhound.
