I love cranes and herons; this one is a great blue heron. I find them so graceful and peaceful to look at. I also like that they are a generally seen as a symbol of luck and health. For example storks are meant to deliver babies and in Japan, cranes are a symbol of hope during challenging times. It is also traditionally believed that folding a thousand paper origami cranes will make your wishes comes true.
